"While we continue to work closely with numerous governmental agencies and leading corporate figures, it is my job to guarantee that at the heart of all of our endeavors is the core concept of Environmental Justice and equal environmental rights for all.”

Amit Bracha, Executive Director of Adam Teva V’Din since 2010, is widely recognized as a leading and prominent voice in the environmental community, championing environmental rights from the start of his impressive legal career.

Since joining the organization in 1999, Amit has served in a number of senior positions and has played key roles in numerous legal actions and new legislative drafts. His environmental vision, legal talent and in-depth knowledge of the field are highly sought after by his peers, fellow NGOs and renowned academic institutions.

Amit holds a second degree in Law from the University of Tel Aviv. He is married and is the proud father of two.

"As an idealistic, up-and-coming attorney, I was immediately drawn to Adam Teva V’Din by the shared belief that Israel must safeguard our environmental resources and public health as fervently as we preserve our legacy of holy sites, historic vistas and archaeological treasures.

Over the years, I have successfully translated this staunch conviction into tangible actions through the Environment and Community Initiative which expresses our dedication to better the quality of life of all citizens and to help them assert their rights to a safe and healthy environment. This program provides a remarkable platform for public participation through the “Green Alert” environmental justice aid service, which offers pro bono advice to communities fighting for improved environmental conditions.

Today, Adam Teva V’Din is synonymous with national environmental policy and practice, being a major influence is the development and enforcement of legislative laws and strategies.

While we continue to work closely with numerous governmental agencies and leading corporate figures, it is my job to guarantee that at the heart of all of our endeavors is the core concept of Environmental Justice and equal environmental rights for all.”
