Municipal parks must be free to all

In 2007 we filed a petition in the Supreme Court against Ra’anana Municipality’s practice of charging non-residents an entrance fee to the municipal park. In response to the filing of our petition, the Interior Ministry amended Municipal Ordinances, prohibiting local authorities to charge for entry to public parks.

The case was filed by our Environmental Justice team, demonstrating our worldview that public open spaces must be truly open, and open to all.
